Researchers at the University of Montreal are currently looking for young people living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) as well as parents of young people living with JIA to participate in a study titled « Promoting engagement in physical activity among young people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis: Development of a social network-based intervention ». JIActiv is a private social media-based group intervention aimed at promoting physical activity in young people with JIA. We would like to get their opinion on how best to promote participation in physical activity among young people living with JIA by using social media.

Participation in the study for both young people and parents involves two one-hour individual interviews as well as filling out a questionnaire that will take about 15-min (for a total participation time of 2 hours and 15 minutes). Young people and parents who are interviewed will be compensated for their participation in the form of 10$ gift certificates that will be mailed to them after each interview.
