CAPA’s Board Member Therese Lane, a patient advocate living with Arthritis and Fibromyalgia for 25 years, presented the results of the CAPA #ArthritisThenNow campaign “ArthritisThenNow: Reflecting on treatment changes in inflammatory arthritis“ at the poster session during the virtual CRA Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) last month. The #ArthritisThenNow campaign was successful in increasing awareness of the fundamental changes in arthritis diagnosis and treatment over the last twenty years. CAPA has also presented its main educational resources, tools and materials at the virtual Exhibit Booth. Another CAPA Board Member, Annette McKinnon, a patient advocate living with Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 30 years, has been representing our organization at the virtual exhibitor space during the entire event. Arthritis at the Workplace, Pregnancy and Parenting with Arthritis, Methotrexate Tips and Tricks, Pain Resource for Patients , Arthritis Then & Now and Flu Shot Q&A’s infographics were among the resources that got 400 views.
