Live from the Candian Pain Society meeting! We live-tweeted from the Canadian Pain Society’s annual scientific meeting from May 11-12. Based on responses from our community, we attended the sessions about pain and the gut microbiome, hot topics in pain, and advocating for the better treatment of pain. International Clinical Trials Day Facebook live – May 20th was International Clinical Trials Day and CAPA member, Laurie Proulx, spoke about her experience with a COVID-19 trial in a Facebook live hosted by Clinical Trials Ontario. Baring it all at the EULAR Congress – We will be attending the EULAR Congress to share the results of the Baring it All report about the sexual and reproductive health needs of women+ with inflammatory, rheumatic, and psoriatic diseases. Rachael Manion, Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Psoriasis Patients, will be presenting the team’s work on June 3 at the 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. session. Third COVID-19 shot+booster – Did you know that some individuals who are immunocompromised are recommended to get a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to complete their primary series, followed by recommended booster doses?
