Dawn Richards, one of CAPA’s Vice Presidents, is passionate about #patientengagement​ in #research​, where patients are collaborators on research teams. This video is her talk from the 2021 Canadian Arthritis Research Conference (#CARC2021​) called “Patient Engagment: The Why and How.” In addition to sharing her own experiences in patient and public engagement, she ‘crowdsourced’ and shared the ‘why’ from people on Twitter and shared practical resources for how to engage patients as partners on research teams.
