We participated in consultations held by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), a federal organization that is leading the development of the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) regulations. The CDB was passed in legislation in June 2023 however the details of what the benefit will look like have yet to be determined. We developed a submission about the key areas of the consultation like the benefit amount, how disability is defined and assessed, applications and payments, and administration.
