CAPA is pleased to recognize its Board member Therese Lane for her role on the Task Force that developed the Global Patient Charter on Social Participation. Therese represented CAPA and was the only Canadian member involved.

Her lived experience with arthritis and chronic pain, along with her long record of patient advocacy, helped shape the Charter so it reflects the needs of diverse patient communities. Therese brought a clear Canadian perspective to discussions on meaningful patient involvement in health systems.

CAPA thanks Therese for her leadership and for helping ensure patient voices are heard on the global stage.

Please read the full version of the Charter.
