The summer holidays are over and getting back to routines and schedules can be challenging for parents, especially those living with chronic illness. Join us for this informal conversation with Mariah Leach, founder of Mamas Facing Forward, as she discusses the parenting strategies for parents with chronic illness like arthritis. Mamas Facing Forward was launched by Mariah Z Leach, a mom of three who has been living with rheumatoid arthritis since the age of 25 and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis since age 5. After learning firsthand the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood with a chronic illness, Mariah became passionate about supporting people with chronic illnesses who are or want to become mothers. Visit the Mamas Facing Forward website for more information.
Please note the drop-in will be recorded and available on the CAPA website for viewing if you are unable to attend at the scheduled time. If you have any questions you wish to be addressed, please email: director@arthritispatient.ca.
