Do you live with Arthritis? Do you have any creative life hacks, innovative adaptive strategies or devices or personal accommodations that help your daily function? We want to hear from you!
Marisa McRae and Sarah McCulloch are student researchers from the Occupational Therapy Program, School of Rehabilitation Sciences, Health Sciences at McMaster University who are working with CAPA for the next few months (check out new blog to learn more about them!). They are looking for individuals with arthritis who have created or use a personal accommodation, adaptive strategy or device, or life hacks that helps them participate in their daily activities to participate in a study.
You would be eligible to take part if you are:
- over 18
- have a diagnosis of Arthritis
- have the ability to partake in Zoom discussions
- Can take a photo of your strategy or device and email it
Your participation would involve:
- One virtual session that will take about 60 minutes.
- One virtual focus group that will take about 120 minutes
- Both groups will take place virtually on Zoom
- 1 or 2 photo(s) of your life hack/device
Participants will receive a $50 electronic gift card for their time!
