How can an occupational therapist (OT) help people with arthritis? With the help of Bella Cairns, an occupational therapy student at McMaster University, she answered this and others questions for us over the summer. She wrote a blog post and infographic that explains what OT’s can do for people with arthritis from splinting, assistive technologies to pain management. This new resource also provides the link to occupational therapists in each province or across Canada.

Have you accessed an OT for help in managing your health? How has an OT helped you manage arthritis? Please let us know by sending an email to contact@arthritispatient.ca.
