Small moments of movement can significantly shift energy, mood, and how one feels about one’s body. Join us in a calming and uplifting 20-minute chair yoga session designed to help you feel more grounded and energized. Whether you’re at home or joining in during your lunch break at work, this accessible and beginner “movement snack” will help you reconnect with your body and breath and help you relax.
Led by Carole Reece, a certified yoga instructor who lives with arthritis, this session is grounded in real-life experience and adapted for people of all abilities. After the movement session, stay with us for a 15–20 minute conversation about how to maintain regular physical activity in ways that feel manageable and rewarding—especially while living with arthritis or other chronic conditions.
What you’ll need:
✔ A sturdy chair (no wheels or armrests preferred)
This session is accessible, beginner-friendly, and open to everyone. Come as you are, and leave feeling a little more grounded. The physical activity portion of the session will be recorded and added to the CAPA website and YouTube channel.
