The Canadian Arthritis Patient Alliance is pleased to be presenting two posters at the EULAR 2026 Congress (European Congress of Rheumatology) taking place June 3–6 in London, UK. CAPA’s Managing Director, Laurie Proulx, is attending the conference and presenting two posters on behalf of the organization.

The first poster, Patient Partnership to Enhance Independent Living for People with Arthritis,” explores the patient-driven research initiative which brought together people with arthritis, clinicians, researchers, designers, and makers to identify priorities and co-design solutions that support independent living by integrating lived experience, research evidence, and practical adaptations.

The second poster, “Building Patient Partner Leadership Through Community, Training, and Mentorship,” shares Prepare to Lead: A patient-led leadership development program created by CAPA to build the skills and community needed to prepare patient partners for leadership roles in research, policy, and advocacy.
