The Canadian Arthritis Patient Alliance is pleased to be presenting two posters at the 2026 Canadian Rheumatology Association Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place April 16–19 in Halifax. CAPA’s President, Linda Wilhelm, will be attending the conference and presenting both posters on behalf of the organization on Friday, April 17, 2025 at 5:30 pm AT — please stop by and do not miss them!

One poster, “Hacking Arthritis: Innovation and Adaptation in Daily Life,” explores the creative strategies people living with arthritis use to maintain independence, participation and quality of life, and highlights the importance of integrating lived experience into care and design.

The second poster, “In Their Own Words: Patient Experiences with Patient Support Programs,” shares findings from CAPA’s national survey on Patient Support Programs and identifies opportunities to improve communication, education and support for patients navigating biologic therapies.
