The report “Medical Cannabis and Arthritis: Insights from the CAPA Project” brings together community-informed perspectives on the realities of accessing medical cannabis for arthritis care in Canada. CAPA launched an engagement process to broadly understand the needs and experiences of people living with arthritis through interviewing people throughout 2025. The engagement involved in-depth interviews with seven individuals living with different forms of arthritis who used cannabis for medical reasons. This report documents lived experience rather than evaluating clinical efficacy and explored the benefits of cannabis, as well as the barriers and challenges people face.
